Lyn Mengich is a Director of Nuevo Consulting limited and the CEO of Nuevo HR Business solutions as well as a lead consultant and trainer.

Lyn is a HR professional with over 25 years cross– industry and cross experience holding top-level positions in a wide range of publicly traded and private organization. She has a wealth of experience in HR strategy and execution having worked in senior HR roles as HR Director for Barclays Bank Kenya, HR Director Kenya Commercial Bank, Senior roles for Shell ( Head of HR -East Africa , Change Manager -Africa and Talent Manager- Africa) HR Director for Smithkline Beecham -East Africa and Senior roles for Unilever including as Head of learning and development. Lyn's experience inside organizations provides her with an appreciation for the impact HR initiatives have on organization effectiveness as well as the need for simplicity and cost effectiveness to ensure positive results.

Lyn  has partnered with CEO's, senior management and other stakeholders in the development and execution of HR strategy. Her areas of expertise include ; Strategy development, talent management, performance management, compensation and benefits, employee engagement, recruitment, training and development, organization design, change management , employee relations and HR operations.

As a lead consultant she brings a wealth of experience with depth and breadth that will not only bring world class practices to every assignment but also practical solutions. By channeling this expertise into consultancy services, she offers a range of workable solutions based on real experience.

As a trainer , she brings in a wealth of experience having been involved in the design and delivery of training programs. Her experience is valuable in bringing in real life experiences from the workplace and helping participants develop realistic action plans. She is experienced in measuring return on investment (ROI) on training and supports organizations in putting in place action plans to measure the ROI.

Lyn is a fellow of the institute of Human resource management Kenya, an Alumni of IESE Business school in Spain and Strathmore Business school (SBS) and Nairobi University having graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Nairobi and Advanced management program from IESE/SBS. She also holds an Executive development program from Cornel University. She has acquired extensive knowledge from different development programs in and outside the country.
